You (or your family member) have a personal healthcare budget (PGB — the Dutch persoonsgebonden budget) and are looking for a taxi that charges a fixed price upfront, can assign a fixed driver for recurring transport, and patiently helps with getting in and out. We accept Wmo, Wlz, Zvw and Youth Act PGB and send you a monthly invoice in the format you can submit directly to the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB) or your health insurer.
A PGB (personal healthcare budget) is a sum of money that you manage yourself to purchase care or transport. It is paid out by the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (SVB) or your health insurer — depending on the type of budget. Below is how we handle it in practice.
You conclude a care agreement for transport with us using the standard SVB model. We drive according to the agreed schedule (recurring or on demand). At the end of the month you receive an itemised invoice per ride: date, route, driver, price. This invoice is in the correct format to submit to the SVB (for Wlz/Wmo via the municipality) or your health insurer (for Zvw-PGB). You do not pay us yourself — the payment runs via the SVB according to your care agreement.
We help you draw up the care agreement if you would like assistance. For independent advice we refer you to Per Saldo, the Association of Budget Holders Netherlands.
Important to know: PGB transport falls under different legal frameworks depending on your indication. We accept all four PGB types (Wmo, Wlz, Zvw, Youth Act). You apply for a PGB via your municipality (Wmo/Youth Act), the CIZ (Wlz) or your health insurer (Zvw) — not via us.
Honesty prevents disappointment. We are a taxi company, not a specialised wheelchair taxi and not a nursing transport service. Below is a clear picture of what our service includes.
This is how it goes with us. No sales tricks, no long-term obligations.
You call or WhatsApp us with your situation: which transport, which frequency, which type of PGB, and any particulars (foldable wheelchair, need for a fixed driver, communication preference). Takes about 10 minutes. No obligation.
We send you a proposal: fixed rate per ride (based on the route), planning proposal, and which driver as the fixed choice. Including all the information you need for your SVB care agreement.
You (or your representative) use the standard SVB care-agreement model for transport. We help fill it in if you wish. Send the signed copy to the SVB (or your health insurer) — after that we can be paid from your PGB.
We plan the first ride carefully. Our driver introduces themselves calmly and notes your preferences. For day-care transport we may do a pick-up test in the first week to optimise timing and route.
At the end of every month you receive one consolidated invoice in SVB format. You submit it to the SVB (or your health insurer); payment runs automatically. No cash payment, no card needed per ride.
Which PGB you have depends on your care indication. We accept all four and can help distinguish them. If in doubt: call your municipality, care office or health insurer.
For guidance, day-care and transport in the context of living independently. Apply via your municipality (case manager).
For people with a permanent, intensive care need (24-hour care or permanent supervision). Apply via the CIZ. Paid out by the SVB.
For nursing and care from the basic insurance. We settle the transport component with your health insurer.
For youth care and youth mental health care. For transport to a special school or treatment. Apply via the municipality (youth team).
For PGB customers we charge the same fixed rates as for regular rides. No increase for the administration. For recurring transport (e.g. day-care 3 days a week) we often set an agreed fixed rate per ride including a fixed driver, often slightly below our normal rate.
Pick-up 8:30, drop-off 16:00, 3 days a week. Fixed rate per ride: €25-30 one way (depending on the exact addresses). With an agreed weekly schedule: typically €5 below our standard individual rate per ride. Monthly invoice approx. €600-720 for 24 rides (8 per month × 3 days).
For your exact route we ask for your pick-up and destination address. Within 1 working day you receive a tailored quote.
1 ride per week there and back. Round trip approx. 80 km total. Fixed rate: ±€110 per return ride. Monthly invoice for 4-5 rides: approx. €440-550. Our driver waits at MUMC during your treatment if it fits within the planning (waiting rate €59.41/hour (€0.99/min) per minute afterwards, free after the 1st hour).
Our rates are always below or comparable to the statutory maximum taxi rate (Decree on Passenger Transport 2000, Wp2000). No meter, no surprises, no surge. For a specific price indication: open the price calculator or call us directly.
Yes: Wmo-PGB (municipality), Wlz-PGB (via SVB), Zvw-PGB (health insurer) and Youth Act PGB (municipality). You receive a monthly invoice in SVB format that you submit directly. Source: SVB.nl/pgb.
Only passengers who can board independently (or with a companion). A foldable wheelchair or rollator fits in the boot of our BYD Han sedan or Citroen e-Jumpy van. For fixed wheelchair transport with a boarding lift we refer you to specialised wheelchair taxis — call us for advice.
For recurring transport (e.g. day-care 3 days a week) we assign a fixed driver where possible. This gives calm and familiarity — especially important for people with an intellectual disability or autism. During holidays or illness we substitute with a driver from the small fixed team.
Then we advise you to first contact your municipality (Wmo case manager) or the CIZ (for a Wlz indication). Per Saldo is an independent association that advises budget holders. Of course we can also simply transport you as a regular customer — you then pay from your own means.
No. We charge the same fixed rates as for regular rides. For recurring transport we often give a discount (fixed-customer rate). The monthly invoice and care-agreement format are part of our normal service.
Yes. The standard SVB care-agreement model for transport is available online at svb.nl/pgb. We fill in our business details and the agreed rate and send you a draft version. You (or your representative) sign and send it to the SVB.
Yes. Our drivers are patient, help with getting in and out, carry bags, fold up a wheelchair or rollator and place them in the boot. We are not nurses — for medical supervision during the ride you must bring a companion or seek a specialised healthcare transport provider.

Yes. Besides structural transport (3x/week day-care, weekly therapy), ad-hoc rides can be booked — e.g. a one-off family visit, outpatient appointment, social activity. These are also included on the monthly invoice for your SVB submission.
10 minutes by phone or WhatsApp. We discuss your situation, make a rate proposal, and help you further with the care agreement. No obligation.
