1. Definitions and applicability

These terms apply to all requests, quotes, rides and agreements of Taxi Reijnders. "We/us" means Taxi J&J Reijnders V.O.F.; "you/customer" the client or traveller.

2. Request versus confirmed booking

Sending a ride request via WhatsApp, phone, email or the form is a request, not a confirmed booking. A ride is only formed once we have explicitly confirmed it. Prices shown in the calculator or a quote are indicative until our confirmation.

4. Payment

Payment can be made in cash, by debit/credit card in the car (international cards accepted), in advance by bank transfer or Tikkie, or — for business clients and travel agencies — by invoice. Invoices must be paid within the term stated on the invoice.

5. Performance and replacement carrier

We do our utmost to perform rides punctually and comfortably. For return rides from an airport we monitor the flight number and wait within reasonable limits in case of delay at no extra cost. If we have no vehicle available ourselves, we arrange, where possible, a replacement carrier at the same rate, at no extra cost; a deposit may be required for this.

6. Cancellation policy

Cancellation is free of charge up to 4 hours before the agreed pick-up time. After that the following cancellation fees apply:

For travel agencies and packages with a deposit: on cancellation within the above terms or on a no-show, the deposit is offset against the cancellation fee. Any deviating arrangements are set out in writing in the partnership proposal.

Please notify cancellations as early as possible via WhatsApp or phone. In case of force majeure on your side we are happy to look for a reasonable solution together.

7. Liability

Prices, travel times and routes shown are indicative and based on the standard route. We are not liable for damage due to delay caused by force majeure, traffic, weather, roadworks or diversions, nor for missed connections or flights, except in case of intent or gross negligence on our part. Our liability is in all cases limited to at most the amount of the relevant ride.

8. Force majeure

In case of force majeure (including extreme weather, strikes, vehicle breakdown) we may suspend performance or offer a suitable alternative, without being liable for damages.

9. Complaints and applicable law

You can report complaints within a reasonable period via info@taxireijnders.nl; we respond as soon as possible. Dutch law applies to all agreements.
